Google Invests Nearly $40 Million To Promote Clean Energy

With a horrific oil leak poisoning the Gulf, energy independence from hydrocarbons has never looked more appealing.

So Google gets it and is putting their money onto Clean Energy to get things moving.  Will we see more companies in the near future do the same.  As we have seen in Ontario it takes some effort and sometime a bit of help from FIT to get going, but once momentum builds cost goes down.  This is happening both in wind and solar now and with oil prices and thus energy prices likely to continue up as a result of the oil spill clean energy will only make more sense.
