A number of projects we are involved in have an interest in small scale biogas generation facilities.  University campuses are interested in dealing with food waste; small communities in the 2,000 to 4,000 people range are interested in combining some sewage treatment anaerobic digesters with some additional biogas generation from organic waste.  At a basic level, the biogas would need to be scrubbed to get rid of objectionable material like H2S.  Further treatment would be considered to bring the biogas gas to natural gas quality as the gas would be compressed and sold for cooking.
