QUALIFICATIONS: RCGI is seeking motivated individuals with expertise in the field of remediation and/or reclamation of upstream oil and gas sites in Alberta. RCGI is seeking both senior (7+ years exp) and intermediate (3-7 years exp) level employees.

The ideal senior candidate will have the ability to offer senior oversight to junior and intermediate employees, individually manage more complicated sites, work within a multi-disciplinary group on a variety of environmental projects, and have a professional designation with the ability for professional sign-off.

The ideal intermediate candidate would have a strong background in the upstream oil and gas industry and be able to work, manage, and complete a variety of environmental projects with the aid of senior oversight.

Strong organization, communication, computer, and writing skills are essential for both candidates.

JOB DUTIES: Senior: project coordination, senior oversight and the management of junior and intermediate consultants.

Intermediate: management, supervision, and completion of a variety of environmentally related projects.

Project work will include: Phase 1 and 2 assessments, Phase 2 remediation projects, soil and groundwater monitoring programs, Tier 1 and 2 assessments, detailed site assessments, and reclamation and remediation certificate applications.

Positions will be available effective immediately, and into the fall of 2010. Successful candidates will be mentored into their positions over a 3 month probationary period. A significant health and professional development benefits package is included upon completion of this term.
