Come join us for an afternoon of international exchange. In this special networking event, meet students from the Erasmus University Rotterdam who have travelled all the way from the Netherlands. They are on a study trip in Vancouver to highlight entrepreneurship and commercialization of clean technology. In the spirit of information sharing, there will be brief presentations from Erasmas students and UBC Clean Energy Engineering students.

As a part of the Erasmus Master in Entrepreneurship and New Business Venturing Honours course, two groups will present case studies of Dutch cleantech companies. One group will discuss public participation and consultation of wind development for Windunie, the largest producer of wind energy in the Netherlands. The second group will showcase the company SimGas, a start up that creates affordable biogas systems for households in subtropical regions. You will also hear about local applications of technology innovation by the UBC Clean Energy Research Centre.
