Fortis to Invest in 335-Megawatt Hydroelectric Project in British Columbia

Fortis has plans to construct a 355-MW hydroelectric facility together with two BC-owned corporations, providing is customers with green energy. The project, which comes with a price tag of about $900 million will produce approximately 630 gigawatt hours of energy which will be sold to BC Hydro under a long-term energy purchase agreement. See more.

Sea Breeze lands Toronto investor for Knob Hill wind farm

Vancouver-based Sea Breeze Power Corp. (TSX-V:SBX) has signed an agreement to build its Knob Hill Wind Farm on northern Vancouver Island.

Plutonic Power and GE Energy Financial Services Start Selling Electrical Energy to BC Hydro
